JIU JITSU PRIVATE LESSONS ONE-TIME PURCHASE TERMS

Private Lessons are application-first. An application allows Furious Stylez to review the Participant’s goals, experience, readiness, requested support, availability, and service fit. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, reserve an appointment, or require payment.

Only an approval or next step communicated through an official Furious Stylez channel establishes eligibility to purchase the identified offer. The Purchaser must use the approved purchase path and must not pay through an unrelated, expired, or outdated link.

Furious Stylez may limit enrollment or decline an application when capacity, safety, requested scope, readiness, conduct history, or service fit does not support the requested coaching relationship. Approval for one purchase does not guarantee approval for a later purchase.

The current one-time Private Lesson options are:

• Single Private Lesson — $60: one 60-minute Jiu Jitsu private lesson for the identified Participant. The lesson must be completed within one calendar month after purchase.
• Flexible Four-Lesson Pack — $220: four 60-minute Jiu Jitsu private lessons for the identified Participant. The lessons are ordinarily scheduled no more than once per week, and all four must be completed within two calendar months after purchase.

The exact product, amount paid, any valid discount, purchase timestamp, ordinary completion deadline, Purchaser, Participant, and accepted document versions must appear in the purchase or acceptance record.

Both products are one-time purchases. Neither automatically renews, creates a membership, or authorizes a recurring charge.

Before payment, the Purchaser must complete the approved acceptance step for these Private Lesson Terms, the Website and App Terms, and every other document identified for the purchase. The checkout acceptance does not replace the separate Jiu Jitsu Private Lesson Waiver or, when the Participant is under 18, the Minor consent form (Google Forms).

By completing the electronic acceptance step, the Purchaser agrees to conduct this transaction electronically and confirms that the Purchaser can access, retain, and review the accepted records. The acceptance record may include the document identity and version, product, Purchaser, Participant relationship, account, transaction, timestamp, and related service record.

The version tied to the completed purchase applies to that purchase. A later prospective document change does not silently rewrite an already accepted transaction.

Each lesson must be scheduled in advance and is subject to coach, facility, and calendar availability. A requested time, application, message, temporary checkout hold, or proposed time is not a confirmed appointment.

An appointment is confirmed via email as the official confirmation identifying the date; start time; coach; in-person location, if applicable; attendance information, including reminder of the reschedule/cancellation policy; and any preparation instructions. A calendar invite will be included, also containing the aforementioned information, to enable the purchaser to add to their digital calendar and set reminder(s). If the virtual lesson option was selected, the confirmation email and calendar invite will include a Google Meet invitation correlating with the appointment’s date and start time. Google Meet is the approved architecture for conducting virtual lessons. No alternative will be considered and no exceptions will be made (e.g., FaceTime, WhatsApp, etc.). The Purchaser and Participant must review the confirmation and promptly report an apparent error.

Furious Stylez will work reasonably with the Purchaser when competition, travel, facility, coach, or Participant schedules require lessons to be scheduled earlier, later, closer together, or farther apart than initially expected. The Flexible Four-Lesson Pack may therefore include more than one lesson in a week when mutually arranged. Scheduling flexibility does not add lessons, guarantee a specific recurring time, or extend the applicable completion deadline unless Furious Stylez separately approves and records an exception.

During the booking process, the Purchaser may submit one or more unlisted YouTube links to the Participant’s match or training footage for review in connection with an eligible booked Private Lesson. The review is an included coaching input for that lesson. YouTube is the approved architecture for video-review. No alternative will be considered and no exceptions will be made (e.g., WhatsApp, text message, email, etc.).

The Purchaser is responsible for having authority to share the submitted link and footage with Furious Stylez for the requested coaching purpose. Submission permits Furious Stylez to review the footage for that purpose only. It does not give Furious Stylez permission to publish, distribute, promote, monetize, or use the footage as Furious Stylez content.

The Purchaser should not submit passwords, private account credentials, or unnecessary personal or health information with a video link.

The ordinary completion deadline is measured from the purchase timestamp in America/Chicago:

• the Single Private Lesson expires one calendar month after purchase; and
• the Flexible Four-Lesson Pack expires two calendar months after purchase.

The purchase confirmation will state the applicable deadline. Rescheduling, a failed booking request, a temporary checkout hold, travel, vacation, illness, injury, or another interruption does not automatically extend that deadline.

If injury, illness, a genuine emergency, or another significant circumstance may prevent timely completion, the Purchaser must contact Furious Stylez promptly. An extension exists only if Furious Stylez reviews the circumstances, approves an exception, and records the new deadline or other disposition. The original deadline remains part of the record.

When no approved exception applies, an unused Single Private Lesson expires at its deadline. Any unused lessons in a Flexible Four-Lesson Pack expire at the Pack deadline. Expired lessons are forfeited and do not roll into another product, membership, or purchase.

An ordinary cancellation or rescheduling request for a confirmed lesson must be submitted through the approved process more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

A timely rescheduled lesson remains subject to the original purchase deadline unless Furious Stylez approves and records an exception. A timely cancellation of a scheduled lesson does not itself cancel the underlying purchase, create a new lesson, or extend the purchase deadline.

For a cancellation or rescheduling request made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, the Purchaser must choose between:

• paying the approved $30 rescheduling fee to move the affected lesson to another available time within the applicable completion period; or
• forfeiting the affected lesson.

Failure to attend a confirmed lesson without a timely approved change forfeits that lesson unless Furious Stylez reviews and records an exception.

Injury, illness, or a genuine emergency may be submitted for individual review. An exception is not automatic. Furious Stylez will record the request time, scheduled lesson time, notice window, outcome, any fee or forfeiture, and any approved exception without collecting unnecessary sensitive detail.

A change of mind does not create a general refund right. A request to cancel the underlying one-time purchase is evaluated under these Private Lesson Terms, the accepted offer and purchase record, the Website and App Terms, any actual Furious Stylez error or correction, and applicable law.

Unless a specific accepted offer, recorded Furious Stylez correction, or applicable law provides otherwise:

• a customer-caused expiration or forfeiture is non-refundable;
• a timely request to cancel or reschedule one confirmed lesson does not automatically create a cash refund for the underlying purchase;
• an unused lesson does not automatically convert into account credit or another service; and
• a Flexible Four-Lesson Pack is not automatically repriced, divided, transferred, or converted into separate Single Private Lesson purchases.

Expiration, forfeiture, cancellation, an approved exception, a Furious Stylez correction, and a payment reversal are different events and must be recorded separately.

If Furious Stylez must cancel a confirmed lesson because of coach availability, facility or equipment conditions, travel, scheduling error, safety, or another Furious Stylez-side issue, Furious Stylez will offer an appropriate replacement time or another documented service-specific correction. The correction must account for the remaining completion period and must not force the Purchaser to lose paid value because Furious Stylez could not provide the confirmed lesson.

If Furious Stylez ends the one-time service relationship before all valid paid lessons have been delivered or contractually consumed, Furious Stylez will preserve the decision record and refund the objectively unused paid remainder, except for an amount already reversed, charged back, or otherwise unavailable through the payment channel. The unused remainder is calculated from the amount actually paid and the lessons already delivered or contractually consumed.

This Furious Stylez-initiated ending rule is separate from customer-caused expiration, forfeiture, cancellation, or payment reversal.

Jiu Jitsu instruction involves physical contact and inherent risks. Before participating, the Participant and responsible adult must complete every applicable readiness, emergency-information, consent, and waiver step.

The Jiu Jitsu Private Lesson Waiver and Assumption of Risk is a separate document. It governs the physical-activity risks, assumption of risk, health and readiness information, emergency provisions, and any participation releases. These Private Lesson Terms do not replace that waiver.

The Participant must provide accurate information that materially affects safe participation, promptly report a material change through the approved process, follow reasonable coach and facility directions, and stop when instructed. Furious Stylez may pause, modify, or decline an activity when continuing would be unsafe or outside the approved service scope.

A Participant under 18 does not independently apply, contract, accept a waiver, or pay for a Private Lesson. The Participant’s parent or legal guardian must complete the application, purchase, acceptance of these Private Lesson Terms, the Jiu Jitsu Private Lesson Waiver and Assumption of Risk, and the Minor consent form (Google Forms).

Parent or guardian presence is preferred where appropriate. The application record identifies the responsible adult and any changes must be communicated to Furious Stylez so an appropriate account update can be accomplished. Furious Stylez may pause or decline participation if the required adult authorization, waiver, or consent is incomplete or cannot be verified.

The Purchaser and Participant must comply with reasonable safety, conduct, account, and facility rules. Harassment, threats, abusive conduct, fraud, material misrepresentation, unsafe behavior, rights or identity misuse, or material noncompliance may result in a pause or ending under the Website and App Terms.

Report an athlete-safety or misconduct concern promptly to a coach during a lesson, to info@furiousstylez.net, or through the Furious Stylez Contact page. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.

A safety report does not automatically create a refund or forfeiture. Any paid-value result follows the applicable documented service rule, including the objectively unused-value rule when Furious Stylez ends the service.

If the payment funding a one-time Private Lesson purchase is reversed before any related paid value is delivered or contractually consumed, the undelivered value is no longer treated as paid and need not be provided.

If the payment is reversed after a lesson or other funded value has been delivered or contractually consumed, the processor’s actual reversed amount is handled as a balance under the accepted Website and App Terms. One reversal creates one balance for the actual amount reversed; a Flexible Four-Lesson Pack is not converted into an invented per-lesson balance.

An account restriction arising from another transaction does not erase a Private Lesson entitlement funded by a separate valid payment. Operational steps necessary to schedule and receive that still-valid entitlement remain available, subject to its ordinary completion deadline and these Private Lesson Terms.

Resolving a reversed balance resolves the financial issue only. It does not erase the event history or guarantee acceptance for a future service.

Private Lessons provide individualized instruction and coaching. Furious Stylez does not guarantee a rank, promotion, competition result, technical outcome, acceptance by an academy or organization, or any other specific result.

These Private Lesson Terms govern the selected one-time Private Lesson purchase. The related documents serve different purposes:

• the Jiu Jitsu Private Lesson Waiver and Assumption of Risk governs physical participation risks and releases;
• the Minor consent form (Google Forms) applies when the Participant is under 18;
• the Website and App Terms govern shared account, payment, conduct, platform, communication, and reversal rules; and
• the Privacy Policy explains the handling of personal information and service records.

When two accepted documents address the same issue differently, the more specific service document controls the service-specific issue unless it expressly states otherwise. Rights that applicable law does not permit a customer to waive remain unaffected.

Texas law governs these Private Lesson Terms to the extent it may lawfully do so, without limiting rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. When a county-based venue provision is required and may lawfully apply, venue is Johnson County, Texas.

If a provision cannot be enforced as written, it will be limited or separated only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue.

Do not send passwords, authentication codes, full payment-card numbers, or unnecessary health information by email or ordinary mail.

By completing the approved acceptance step, the Purchaser confirms that the Purchaser:

• is an adult authorized to make the purchase and, when applicable, is the Participant’s parent or legal guardian;
• reviewed these Private Lesson Terms and the linked documents applicable to the purchase;
• selected either the Single Private Lesson or Flexible Four-Lesson Pack shown in the purchase record;
• understands the product price, lesson count and duration, applicable one- or two-month completion deadline, scheduling rules, and late-change consequences;
• understands that a reviewed exception is not automatic and must be approved and recorded by Furious Stylez;
• For the temporary site, selecting the agreement checkbox at checkout confirms agreement to the applicable Terms and documents on the Documents page, including the applicable Private Lesson Waiver and Performance Coaching Waiver. Any separately required minor-consent or health/readiness form remains part of our existing process.
• agrees to electronic acceptance and retention of the accepted records.
